CoffeeChat 48 – Fully Loaded

Edition  48

Fully Loaded

Last Edition Recap
How have you applied the last edition to your life?
Opening Prayer
Lord God, You have created us to live full lives, not live with emptiness; fill us with more of Your goodness. Amen.
Introduction
Answer YES or NO:
  • Are you allowed to steal?
  • Is someone allowed to steal from you?
  • Are you allowed to lie?
  • Is someone allowed to lie to you?
  • Are you allowed to judge?
  • Are others allowed to judge you?
  • Must God forgive you?
  • Must you forgive your enemy?
It’s most likely that everyone answers the same. We all know stealing is wrong—for us and others. We know lying is wrong—universally. We recognise forgiveness is required—both directions. So, how do you know the difference between right and wrong? Where does this knowing come from? It’s not learned—it’s loaded.
Jeremiah 31:33 reveals God’s download: “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.” Not one or the other—both. Mind knows. Heart feels. Together, they create moral consciousness. But God didn’t stop there. The diagram tells the story:
  • Put in Mind + Written on Heart + Lives in (Holy Spirit) = Disciple.

You’re not partially equipped. You’re fully loaded. Jesus commanded: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30). All. Not some. Every part of you engaged because every part has been equipped. The mind that knows right from wrong. The heart that feels the weight of truth. The Spirit that empowers obedience. You’re not running on empty. You’re fully loaded with everything needed for godly living.
Chat Point 1
Go through the YES/NO questions together:
  1. Compare your answers—were they identical, and what does this universal agreement reveal?
  2. How do you know the difference between right and wrong, good and bad?
  3. Where does this “knowing the difference” come from?
  4. Why has God deemed it essential to have the law placed in the mind AND written on the heart?
  5. What’s the difference between knowing something in your mind versus feeling it in your heart?
Read
Jeremiah 31:33, John 14:15-31
Key Focus
John 14:20 – “On that day you will realise that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”
Chat Point 2
  1. Looking at the diagram (Mind + Heart + Spirit = Disciple), which figure best describes you now?
  2. Why does God fill us with Himself rather than leave us empty?
  3. How does the complete Disciple image relate to Jesus’s command to love God with all?
  4. Why does God want us loaded with such a powerful combination for godly discernment?
  5. What happens when we operate with only partial loading (just mind, or just heart, or just Spirit)?
Final Thought
You’re not a basic model. You’re fully loaded. God didn’t give you just enough to survive—He gave you everything needed to thrive. Law in your mind: you know what’s right. Law on your heart: you feel what’s true. Spirit within: you have power to live it. This isn’t random redundancy. It’s intentional integration. The mind alone becomes legalistic—all rules, no relationship. The heart alone becomes emotional—all feeling, no foundation. The Spirit alone becomes mystical—all experience, no understanding. But together? Mind knows, heart cares, Spirit empowers. You become what Jesus prayed: “That they may be one as we are one—I in them and you in me” (John 17:22-23). Do you realise how important you are to God? He wants you so successful in relationship with Him that He’s made sure you have everything needed to win. Even His Holy Spirit to help you. You’re not fighting spiritual battles with natural weapons. You’re not navigating divine territory with human maps. You’re not trying to live supernatural life with natural resources. You’re fully loaded. The question isn’t whether you have what you need—you do. The question is whether you’re accessing what you have. Are you thinking with His mind, feeling with His heart, moving in His Spirit? Or are you trying to run this race on empty whilst carrying a full tank?
